Subu store Won the Commendation of the Advanced Collective for Serving Farmers and Grassroots Cultural Construction

 Recently, the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and National Radio and Television Administration jointly issued the list of the eighth national advanced collective for serving farmers and serving grassroots cultural construction.The Subu branch of Lu'an Xinhua bookstore was selected on the list in the category of book distribution units . Only 14 grassroots level book distribution units in China received this award.

Subu branch of Lu'an Xinhua Bookstore is located in the old revolutionary base area of Dabie Mountain in Western Anhui Province. It has two employees and is responsible for the distribution of teaching books and tutorial materials for primary and secondary schools in Subu town,which consists of three townships with a population of 70,000.Since its establishment in 1955, Subu store has continuously strengthened infrastructure construction, created a cultural atmosphere, promoted activities to benefit the people, extended service capacity, optimized service mechanism and expanded service contents, which has provided strong support for the rural development and cultural and educational undertakings of Subu town. It has been highly praised by the local government and the people, and has been rated as Excellent Rural Network by the provincial and municipal Xinhua Bookstore for many times ,and has been named as the demonstration shop of the Ten Thousands of Villages and Thousands of Townships Project by the Provincial Department of Commerce.

Keeping in mind the "mission" of spreading cultural knowledge and inheriting the red gene, the Subu store actively publicizes the party's principles and policies, adheres to serving agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and improves its service ability in an all-round way. It has become cultural disseminators in old revolutionary base areas and a close friend for local people by doing everything possible to meet their needs.
